BrightRoll was founded on the principle of transparency. This approach enables us to send the highest-quality, highest-value campaigns to our publishers and mobile application developers.
Because we have worked with so many top-tier, premium publishers, we are diligent in avoiding conflict with your direct sales channel. Here’s how we do it:
We never sell site-specifically. Your property will be included in a list of high-quality sites as part of a buy proposal. If an agency wishes to buy your site, and only your site, they will be referred to you directly.
We never propose application-specific buys. Your application will be included in a list of high-quality properties as part of a buy proposal. If an agency wishes to buy your application inventory, and only your application, they will be referred to you directly.
We never guarantee delivery on any particular site or application. The agency is aware that their campaign may run on your site or application, but there is no guarantee that it will. Agencies are not permitted to allocate inventory on a per-site or per-application basis.
Agencies do not see the CPM you received. The agency will know that the campaign ran on your site or application, but they will not know the CPM that you received – only the blended CPM which they paid BrightRoll (which includes payment for various media types.)
We have systems in place to ensure compliance. Sales calls are regularly reviewed by the vice president of sales to ensure 100% compliance with the above policy. We offer a direct path of escalation to the CEO to address any concerns.
Please contact us if you have any questions about this policy.
